Capturing the best of Scotland

A selection of great photographs, trying to capture the splendour of the natural beauty of Scotland. On my site, you will be able to see some fantastic pictures from around Scotland, capturing this beautiful country at it's best. All pictures are taken by myself, Alan Stephen. I am an amatuer photographer, and have been taking pictures for several years, trying to capture the natural beauty of my homeland. Both east and west Scotland have very eye-catching features, yet both are very different in style. The east has miles of rolling countryside with awesome cliffs holding back the North Sea, while the west was arguably blessed with the most eyecatching features, mainly due to the Atlantic Ocean's unique sculpturing of the shorelines and the several islands scattered up the whole west coast.

I have a large catalogue of pictures, too many to feature them all on this site, so if there is anything you are looking for, please feel free to email me to find out if I have what you're looking for. As I was looking into developing this site into a business but found it was costing more than making, I have created a stock of photos and postcards which are to be sold off. I currently sell a selection of available prints on and Please feel free to click the links below to see the available items:
